The decision is final….
admin | January 2, 2007Well, I’m now signed up for a new broadband account. I picked Zen Broadband eventually, mainly due to the fact they have the best reputation for technical support and reliability. Plus they offer a one month rolling contract. Up to 8Mb speed, and a 20Gb download cap for £25 inc VAT is about the norm, although the activation fee is £47, which is a bit of a hit, considering the growing support for easier provision of MAC codes etc, and the fact I didn’t want any free hardware.
What that does mean is more updates, both here, and on my new project, which is providing a new website for online-only magazine Disposable Media. It’s going to be the second most time-consuming endeavour behind my day job, so expect plenty of whinging as I struggle to relearn html etc…
And you’ll be able to see whether I can follow my own rules about making sites simple, intuitive and stylish.

I am happy to hear that you plan to make your site “simple, intuitive and stylish”. 2/3

And I’ll be happy when the site is done…if it does turn out that way… Until then, i’ll just be slightly panicky and nervous
