The best laid plans often go astray. I’d intended to get a lot of work and blogging done this weekend, taking a bit of a break around a family gathering – but a last minute chance to go and catch the new Batman film while it’s still on in the cinema was too much to resist!
I really liked the film, although it was tinged with a bit of sadness that Heath Ledger won’t be reprising his role, as I thought he brought something really new and fresh to take the mantle of The Joker away from Jack Nicholson…but the entire ensemble was great, despite the fact it had the feel of The Empire Strikes Back – dark and with several characters and plotlines…
Hopefully I’ll get the chance to get back to the world of social media at some point over the weekend, when I’ve stopped dreaming about having my own Batmobile. Funnily enough, one of the few people I envy is a relative who works in special effects on films like Batman…
