Essential tools for working from the family home

There really are two things which make it possible for me to work from home without having the money to build an office in the garden:
Sony MDR-V300 Headphones with Neodymium Magnet – Folding Design

That and the fact I’ve got a bookcase partitioning me from the rest of the room and blocking the line of sight to the television (currently showing CBeebies to my partner and my 8-month old!).

  • @Euan lol...depends on what you're looking for in a pair of headphones! You can buy better ones for noise cancellation etc, but for a relatively budget pair I've found the Sony's pretty good, and they survive being stuffed in my backpack every day for work. I've also used them for at least an hour a day, 5 days a week for probably 18 months, and they haven't fallen apart yet!
  • So should I be uying a pair of those headphones then?
  • Hey Dan, I do like your penchant for hair metal on your Last.fm playlist. Listening to Van Halen's Eruption whilst taking a glimpse at CBeebies must be quite an experience. Rock on!
